Location great as on a bus line. On a busy street, but slows down around bedtime. Great staff; felt comfortable on first floor with staff there and a gate.

Great, friendly staff, parking on site. Location was convenient for our touristy needs. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
The rooms were exactly what we need. Its located in a prime location. Its like 9 mins away from where we are supposed to visit - UCLA. Theres no breakfast provided, just coffee and tea. All staff are pleasant and kind including the security guard Barry. Parking may be tight but its secured coz gate is locked from 11pm until 8am. We booked a 3bedroom cottage. Beds and pillows were comfortable. Definitely will come back

We booked one night there while in LA for business. It was a convenient location, we could walk from the motel to take care of our errands rather than dealing with LA traffic and parking. At the last minute our pet sitter bailed, and we had to take our dog. That meant a last minute cancellation at 4pm the day or check-in, since Wishire Motel doesn't take pets. So we didn't actually stay there, but the staff were so kind by phone, informing us of a pet-friendly hotel nearby. But the real clincher came later: they made an. exception and gave us a full refund, even though we cancelled so late and they didn't have to do that. Kindness like this is hard to find these days, thank you Wilshire Motel. PS. We were in the area & did see the motel from the outside, and witnessed the security guard assisting a guest in parking, and it looks like a cozy and protected place. Wonderful cafes nearby & grocery shopping.
Perfect location for spending time on the west side and not wanting to spend a ton of money. Easy connections to bus and light rail. Surprisingly quiet for being right on Wilshire. Good restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Two bedroom cottage is great value and veey cute and comfortable down to complimentary water and tooletries. Staff all welcoming and pleasant. Well maintained property. Walk to restaurants. Free parking. Ear plugs provided for traffic noise. Good heat/a/c. Free coffee. Just a great stay.

CLEAN! The room was really clean! The fridge was brand new in our room. Lots of heating and cooling options. We stayed in the 3 bedroom cottage and there was a heater and ac in each area. The bathroom was really clean and the staff were all amazing!
Last week was my 2nd time staying at the Wilshire Motel. My room had newer furniture and very up-to-date, elegant decor, and the place (the bedding/linens, towels, the smell of the room, etc.) was *very clean*, which is the most important thing to me. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even the security guard showed great manners and respect and helped me with parking. The luxurious feel of the room and the service combined far, far exceeds the rate I was charged. I will always stay at the Wilshire Motel when visiting the L.A. area!

I loved the adorable single room bungalow near the office. The toiletries were also exceptional and I was pleased to see a small convince fridge, plus iron in the space. Although I didn't use it. I know what to expect upon my return.
Accessible to attractions we wanted to visit, such as the Getty. Walkable to places to eat, quaint, comfortable, we appointed for a little old vintage motel. Staff were great too.
Location can’t be beat. West LA on the Brentwood/SM border, and across the street from McDonald’s? Hurray! Also the only old school motel still around, the last of it’s kind. I was a solo traveler which is a shame because I got a full little 2 bedroom flat to myself. Definitely the best deal in town, w/ the most bang for your buck, and beats the hell outta “co-living” at a hostel! Did I mention the friendly welcoming staff? Five stars for that alone! Young lady even let me check in early, no problem.

I loved not only how clean the unit was, but it had features in the room like beautiful curtains and I remember part of the bedding just being nicer than average, which gave you even more of a comfortable feeling as well as it’s old Los Angeles I’m guessing 1940s charm and right in the middle of West LA which I lived in briefly back in 1999 when I first moved to LA from Louisiana And with all of that said and it’s very hospitable professional and welcoming Reception and management. I will definitely stay there again for business purposes as I work in Beverly Hills and it’s wonderful to be at the back door literally of Beverly Hills, Westwood, and West Hollywood.
